Welcome to Troop 61 of Lynnwood WA

Welcome to Troop 61 - Serving communities in South Snohomish County: Lynnwood, Brier, Mountlake Terrace, Bothell, Edmonds, and Everett.  We are located in the Puget Sound District, Mount Baker Council.

At BSA Troop 61 in Lynnwood, we train young boys to become men, problem solvers and leaders; to appreciate the gift of life and the wonderful world that surrounds us; to accept and help others and always live by the Boy Scout code and values. Troop 61 Boy Scouts have fun through the year with an active outdoor program.

Troop 61 is big on canoeing, hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, shooting sports, public service, snow skiing with a growing interest in climbing, fishing and crabbing. We attend an annual BSA summer camp at one of the camps around the Pacific Northwest and conduct an annual challenging outing like the most recent 70-mile canoe trip around the Bowron Lake Provincial Park circuit in northern British Columbia.

Troop 61 meets at and is chartered by the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, located near the intersection of Poplar and Larch Way at 3215 Larch Way, Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Monday evenings from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM. Guests are welcome anytime.

Feel free to email our Scoutmaster, Mr. LaPointe, for more information.
